As entrepreneurship is becoming a mainstream career path, more people are heading to school to learn Startup 101. And colleges are taking note.
Today there are more than 2,364 post-secondary institutions offering entrepreneurship and small business certificates, up a whopping 906 percent from 10 years ago, according to for-profit .

People are taking advantage of these offerings with 600,000 students taking at least one class focused on entrepreneurship a year. For these students, it seems to help them pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. Of those that took at least one entrepreneurial course, 51 percent worked at a startup and 39 percent founded a company, as opposed to the 35 percent and 26 percent who did not take a course respectively.
